Who is Canet & Patrick Boatbrokers?

Born in Sudeten in 1946, high-school and Technical University graduate, his first navigation trials and diving activities were carried out in Hamburg.

At the beginning of the Seventies, after graduating in navigation, he completed radio and diving training. From the end of the Seventies until the mid-Eighties he became a globetrotter and visited several continents, finally settling in Spain as a coral-diver and later, in 1986, “emerging” as Empuriabrava’s first local broker, mediating and selling successfully boats and yachts. From humble beginnings in Empuriabrava, his business has extended over the last few years all over the Iberian peninsula, as well as to some west European countries, due to an excellent choice of products, his presence in boat-fairs in Barcelona, good references and collaboration with more and more local and international boat-businesses.

Since 2006 the management of the company belongs to Mariano Canet Jara, born in 1968 in Castelló d'Empúries. Middle school graduation, yacht captain with some 20 years of experience in sales and after sales departments, has transformed the company into one of the leaders in the nautical sector.

Thanks to the new direction the company expands towards Europe with the new technologies and has been converted into a reference in the brokerage world.
